this was originally manufactured for a ford mustang...this owner adapter it to an e21...some e21 owners have opted for doubling the Alpina front stress bars...this is a way to increase that level of support without doubling up on a traditional Alpina bar...interesting to me only from a design perspective...i doubt that it is all that useful in a street car...
