Fuel Line (cont.)

Ok, so it has taken me what seems like forever to find an get these gas lines for the top vent tubes but now that I have them installed the left hand tank has the line fastened on, and the tank is fastened with only hand tight bolts. Because this is a '76 build date it features separate tank connected with (1.5 SAE) hose, that hose lists for $16.00/ft. That is in place as well...I need to have some work done to the in-tank suction devise before its installed and the right side tank lifted into place...

POR 15 Gas Tanks

This is the original fuel sender after a through cleaning it was deemed serviceable...

The tanks were primed and coated with POR-15 then covered with black paint to reduce UV exposure which POR-15 is effected by...

These are my before pics...I looked
for an in tank fuel sender at the pic and pull but theirs were worse than mine...

After removing the 2 tanks i had tanks sand blasted and I primed them...I've now applied POR-15 to both tanks...

this is a close up of the fuel sender in the condition i found it...caked on dirt, grease, and grim...after pulling the access cover in the back of the car under the back seat...

...the wiring to the in tank fuel sender, with most of the original stock vent hoses...

wiring colors and plugs...i set my phone down under the car with me and when i split the tanks joining rubber hose my 'bucket' was far to small and i created somewhat of an environmental mess on the shop floor...my new iPhone was one of the several things that got soaked...
