below are pictures of the pilot bearing i FINALLY got out of my engine...i have read numerous times how its possible to push grease into the hole and with either an extension or a rod of some sort creating a hydraulic of sorts pressing out the bearing...on the tough ones...i've even heard that paper wads can be used in the same way...at lunch time i stopped by a friend's shop to ask if he had a pilot bearing puller..he too told me to just use the grease...i went to a nearby used tool place and picked up the puller...what a JOKE...this bearing would have NEVER come out like that...it almost didn't come out with a puller, pry bars, and a hammer...this is what remains looks like...
